What can PKCO do for you and your department? Read below to find out what our programs have done for others--

I attended your Tactical Police Performance training session in October. I just wanted to let you know the impact your course made with me. I have been an avid weightlifter and runner for the past 20+ years. I went into the course feeling as though I was in decent shape. Within hours of beginning your course, I was humbled by the simple, yet extremely effective core training exercises of the Dynamic Warm-Up. I was skeptical of any "strength" training that did not involve lifting heavy free weights. I decided to put aside my macho police mentality and give this type of training a try. Over the past few weeks, I have adopted a training program revolving around the exercises stressed in your course. I have a chronic disc problem with my lower back, but have noticed
significant strength improvement and less trouble with this area. My anaerobic endurance is improving as well. I have lost eight pounds and feel stronger than I have in a long time. Other officers on my department have adopted the Dynamic Warm-Up and core training concepts as well. We all feel your program is extremely advantageous to us for preventing injuries as well as increasing strength and anaerobic endurance.

As a veteran police defensive tactics instructor, I have attended
numerous law enforcement "fitness" classes over the years. Most of them had little to do with the tactical side of police performance.
PKCO's functional fitness classes are the best that I have ever
attended. I recently took the Injury Prevention for Police and
Baton & Shooting Skills Improvement Classes.  They were excellent - focusing on realistic fitness training and strategies that will improve performance and prevent injuries for the average officer.  Every officer from the coach potato to the super athlete can learn how to improve their performance and to be better prepared to survive the vigors of the profession today and throughout their lives.  I look forward to taking the Tactical Police Performance Instructor Class in the near future.

I attended the Tactical Police Performance Instructor Course in Tucson, AZ at SALETC and it was a fantastic class.  We really had a great time with PKCO. We all wished we would have had the course years ago when we started lifting and then we wouldn't have made all those stupid mistakes.
The class was very informative for
developing workouts for academy classes
and in-service training. This training
brought together the last 15 years of
exercise, lifting, playing sports, getting
certified as an AZ POST PT Instructor
etc., and really allowed me to put together
an effective and safe work out regimen for
myself and for others. I have been using the dynamic warm-up with success and teaching it to several people. They really enjoy it and it has been helping people with weak backs, shoulders, etc.  The response I have had since introducing this to people I am trying to influence has been very positive.

The courses PKCO presents are exactly what Law
Enforcement needs today.  I have attended some other police fitness classes over the years and nothing compares with PKCO's courses.  I have attended 3 of the courses from the 4 hr block to the 3 day class; they were exceptional.  Other officers I have sent to PKCO training were also impressed with
their knowledge, dedication and the thoroughness of the program without the need for a lot of expensive equipment.  Their dedication to helping today's police officers is commendable.  I hope to send our remaining 90 or so officers through a course in the near future.

The information PKCO provided has already helped me and I will be instructing what I learned to my fellow officers. I was blown away that I was blessed with learning from trainers of top athletes.  I had bits and pieces of what you taught already, but I was unable to connect the dots.  This course nailed it.

Do not stop teaching this.  I see so many officers develop physical failures after years of service, and this course explains why.  I have been a weight lifter for years and at 45 years of age, I am experiencing many of the symptoms you described in your course regarding joint destruction (2 torn rotators, chronic back and neck pain), balance issues, etc.  I wish I had this information 20 years ago!

I've been doing the PKCO recommended core workout 15 minutes, twice a day, M-F, for the last two weeks and I can honestly say my lower back is
in GREAT shape. I'm going to do this routine for two more weeks then add on the Injury Prevention Fitness Program. Your training saved me from chronic pain; thank you from the bottom of my
heart. I feel 25 years old again, not 46. My energy level is through the roof from the exercises and your advice on the nutrition.

I recently attended several of your Police Kinesiology courses including your instructor course. As one of our full-time training officers, I introduced PKCO's police warm-up exercises to our officers during defensive tactics. After several days of repeated warm-ups and brief emonstrations of additional, simple exercises such as the box squat, several of our more experienced officers asked for additional instruction in PKCO's system of exercise.  Our officers appreciate the research-based system versus the typical M.S.U. (make stuff up) approach. Not surprisingly, much of the interest in PKCO's system came not only from the younger fitness-focused officers, but also from the officers who are close to retirement and want to stay healthy in order to enjoy retirement.  Your dynamic and anaerobic exercises fit right in with what the best minds in research-based defensive tactics teach.  By training police specifically for combat fitness, your program offers police a great advantage.  As an officer working for an agency with little chance of back-up, I want to thank PKCO for introducing such a positive supplement to our training program.

I have attended several of the courses offered by PKCO Training.  Within the past few years, we have introduced the officers to the dynamic workout and we have now incorporated the dynamic warm up at the beginning of our in-house trainings.  We have received a positive response from the officers, and at the conclusion of the class, there are several officers that request a copy of the warm-up to add to their personal workout routines.  I just completed the Tactical Police Performance Instructor course and I have to say that this course offers a wealth of information.  The programs and activities designed by PKCO are second to none for law enforcement officers.  During the course we were introduced to a Shift Briefing Warm-up
and we will be introducing the activities to our officers in the near future.  My advice to all of the officers that have attended or plan on attending the PKCO Training, introduce your colleagues to the program and I am sure you will find a positive response.  I would like to thank the PKCO trainers for all of their hard work and dedication in designing a police specific training
program!

On behalf of the Illinois State Police North Tactical Response Team, I
would like to express my sincere appreciation for your instruction on
Injury Prevention for Law Enforcement, Weight Training for Law
Enforcement, and Tactical Police Performance Instructor Course. I am a 20 year veteran in the department (17 on the Tactical Response Team) and have had the opportunity to attend many informative classes. Yours was certainly no exception!
Your dynamiceExercises have been incorporated into our daily training by all members of the team. Your warm-up exercises have even become an important part of our mechanical breacher's pre-operations routine before executing early morning search and arrest warrants. You have also educated our team on the meaning of functional training and how important it is for officers to incorporate these specific movements into their exercise programs.
Thank you for all your assistance.
